Maha-Kumbh 2013 at Allahabad

It has started after the 144 years, and after the twelve years of the Kumbh, at Allahabad, India on 14 January 2013.  This time it is Maha-Kumbh which comes only one time after 144 years. It is the festival which has largest gathering population in the world records.  I read the newspaper and it tells that all the preparations are done and people from all  around the world are coming.
In  2001, about 70 million people were reported to attend the festival of Kumbh at Allahabad. This festival is celebrated at the Prayags. According the cosmic scriptures of Hindus, These are four place, Allahabad, Nashik, Ujjain and Haridwar,  where the drops of the Amrita were dropped from the Kumbh.
The Kumbh was churned out from the ocean of milk, by the Demigods and Asuras after 12(Equal to 12 years of human) days of continuous work. The Vishnu who was in the Mohini avatar took the Kumbh and fly in the sky, but the drops of the Amrit, was spilled at this four places, also known as the Prayag.
At this place the holy rivers of India i.e. Ganga, Yamuna and Sarswati(Now it has dissapeared) meet together.
According to wiki records, " The first written evidence of the Kumbha Mela can be found in the accounts of Chinese traveler, Huan Tsang or Xuanzang (602 - 664 A.D.) who visited India in 629 -645 CE, during the reign of King  Harshavardhana". So it has a long history.
