Manneken Pis Statue of Brussel

You might have seen this little boy pissing in front of whole world all the time. Well it is a fountain made in an artistic way and appears as if the boy is pissing off. This statue is in the Brussels, Belgium and is one of the Brussels landmarks. It catches attention of the people and might increase their curiosity to know the story behind the making of this bronze statue. 
Well there are a numbers of stories behind the statue. According to one story this 2 years old Lord of an army was kept into a basket and hanged on the tree by his army so as to win the battle under his eye sight. This boy pissed from the basket on the enemies and won the battle. sounds funny!
Another story are that this is the boy who got separated from a father in the market and was found pissing in a park after a search by his father.
According to another story this boy got separated from his mother and was found pissing on the streets of the town. 
Original version of the statue was erected in 1388 and current version was erected in 1619.  This urinating toddler is dressed up into different costumes, at different times. It can be done weekly to celebrate or promote something good among the public at this place. It is a world famous statue and among other touristic place of Brussels this is like a Diamond among the pearls.
