Indian Teacher's Day(5th september) Sepcial

Look at Indian history it is filled with the examples of Guru and Shishya (Teacher and pupil)'s beautiful
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
stories. Tulsidas(Who wrote Ramcharitmanas)  use to say that people search for the Guru but the real Guru search for his pupil. Ram was the pupil of Vashisht, Arjun was of Draunacharya, chandragupta was of Chanakya, Swami Vivekananda of Swami Ramkrishan Parmhans. Bet me, you remember your first teacher, because the relation of the teacher and his pupil is very different from the other relations.
Real teacher is one who put his ethics, moral and righteousness at the first place. He has all his five senses in his control, and he walks on the path of the self realization.
A teacher who has realized himself is the one who can make his students realize their right path. He is enlightened and self explored and that is why that he can light up the path of his followers. He has profound knowledge to share with his students and he has a energetic voice and charismatic personality to grab their attention.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan(born September 5, 1888) is known as an ideal teacher and an Indian scholar and academic philosopher who has acted as the first Vice-President(1952 - 1962) and the Second President(1962-67) of the Republic of India, was highly respected by his students. He believed that if everyone has studied and got the knowledge then this country will get freedom from all the problems.
He was a great teacher, great philosopher and a great diplomat. Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru once said that we do not only respect Radhakrishnan because he the President of India but also because he is the great preacher and teacher of the Indian Philosophy.
Since 1962, September 5 is celebrated in India as the Teacher's day to honor the teachers and to commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, while World Teacher's day is celebrated on October 5. Radhakrishnan has written a numbers of books which are also available on the online stores like flipkart.com. also.  I hope and wish, we also get some of his blessings by celebrating his birthday as the teacher's day.
 Thank you!

Yours,

S Kumar
