Mother's Day special

Today the second Sunday of the May is celebrated as the Mother's day. It has started in US, and first celebrated in 1908 when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother, in Grafton, West Virginia. She was successful with her campaign to make the 'mother's day' as a recognized holiday in 1914.
Mother's day was a commercial success for many companies producing the cards specially made with imprinting of the mother's day celebration.
Jarvis didn't like the idea of the commercialization but it is still there.  I think it is better to write in your own hand-writing a 'happy mother's day' to your mother, rather than buying a card.
There are benefits of the card because it saves time and your mind, but if you use your own mind, it could enhance your creativity and also it will be economic.
Take time to prepare something creative of your own ideas, which would be more meaningful to your mother. A simple drawing as I have posted above can be more effective, because it is a sincere effort to show your love.
Complementary to mother's day is father's day which is celebrated in many countries in the third Sunday of the June.
