Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism - origin

Hinduism is a very old religion and it was the only religion in the ancient times in India. Brahmins were considered the top most and near to God at those times. Hinduism has the oldest scriptures present till today. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh are three top most God in Hindu religion and there are around 33 crores demigods in this religion.
Then Gautama Buddha(563 BC - 480 BC aged 80) founded another religion "Buddhism" after meditating for many days at Bodh Gaya in Bihar state of India. He said that any one can get the enlightenment or Moksha in this life itself. Hinduism believed that one gets Moksha after the death by doing the right deeds in your life.
At around same time Mahavira Jain founded another religion named "Jainism", which is not so much popular these days.
Then in recent centuries Guru Nanak Dev Ji(life -15 April 1469 - 22  september 1539) founded the popular religion "Sikhism".  There was a Guru trend, 1st Guru being the Guru Nanak Dev G and the 10th Guru and the last Guru was Guru Gobind Singh and after wards it is "Guru Granth Sahib(22 dec 1666- 7 Oct 1708)" - a collection of written guidelines for the Sikh community. Punjab in India is the place where  a very large population of the Sikhs reside.
India is known for its spiritual heritage and many people come here for finding the inner peace. It has a history of origin of many spiritual leaders.
